Founded in 2000, BigChurch.com now boasts over 300,000 active members and has become one of the largest dating websites for Christians/Catholics. Providing the standard search capabilities that you'd expect from a dating service, it also takes a more religious angle as one would expect and includes Bible commentary, Bible groups, blogs, top tips and advice from fellow Christians/Catholics and more.

 

When you access the site, it automatically picks up your location for the search tool. Currently being on a tiny desert island in the Middle East with a predominant Muslim population, it picked up my location here just fine and furthermore, running a search actually returned over 10 results! That's proof enough that their member database is indeed, as they claim, worldwide.

 

Standard membership is free and this allows you to search for other members, chat and send instant messages. For an additional monthly fee you can become a Silver or Gold member with many additional features such as advanced search, ability to view member profile pictures and video greetings.

 

A notable heads-up on perhaps the only negative of this website - there do seem to be a few fake profiles that will pop up amongst your search results but then again, bear in mind this is a common trait across all large dating websites and is almost impossible to avoid.
